I'm into buying a new gun on the 300 New price range and I was really decided about the G4 by DP, then, when I was glancing at the forums here I read a thread talking about a firing problem regarding this line of guns(it said G3, Spec R and G4) when it said that it was because of the lube I said "well, ok, at least it's not anything more difficult." I kept on reading and it said something about cleaning the solenoid and I'm not comfortable with it nor having someone deal with it, I have done a lot of fixing to a lot of things(PS3,XBOX360, old gun, Wii, PSP and cousins NDS, etc...) Then I saw the new PMR and was psyched about the price until I read the specs and thought "this is my long stolen SLG version of a PMR" and wasn't cool with it. I've been a year without a gun and, like a heroin junkie I want my dosis of paintball and I want to know, even though there's Pros and Cons about this two guns, I have 450 bucks for the gun and a Ninja air tank to be back, which gun between this two(G4 and PMR) would you guys suggest. Please no fanaticism, I got enough with the FIFA World Cup 2010.

Well the new PMR -2011 line of PMR- are now called Proto Reflex Rails. Yes, the new "PMR11" is just a continuation of the SLG line. You will notice there is no "SLG" listed as a 2011 marker anymore .
So I suppose it depends what you are "Vsing"
1. The 2011 rail -slg- VS. A G4?
2. The 2011 Reflex Rail -actually PMR- vs a G4
3. 2010 PMR Vs G4
For 1 I would take the G4.
For both 2 and 3 I would take the PMR 2010 or Reflex Rail 2011 over the G4.

I say, start your self off with a nice tippmann.
Then advance up to an electronic (if you like speedball )
Go to an epiphany or ion.
You still like the whole sport ? Well then, upgrade you gun to a better high end electronic...

I didn't know it would be this confusing, I'm talking about the name perce, like it's still the PMR while the PRR being what was the PMR09 and 10. But, if I'm going to PRR I guess I'm better off with the DP FX. So, like said in my previous post I'm in the 300 dollar range

What do you guys think.. NT, Geo2, or a Victory? Looking for a smooth shooter with pretty good efficiency. Not really wanting to spend over 800 so if there is something other than these 3 I would be open for suggestions. Thanks.

Clone or victory. Nts and lycee are overpriced and don't shoot well enough to justify the cost. The victory has amazing efficient and is pretty smooth, the clone is the smoothest and is 2nd for efficiency, plus has an oled board from the factory.
I've owned all of them, the clone was my favorite, I don't play enough to justify keeping mine, that's the only reason it's posted f/s/t

the new proto rail is basically an ion - with rail bolt.
the new proto REFLEX rail, is basically a DM8,9,10 - because it has the fuse bolt.

Ego hands down is a better gun. If he adds about a hundred you would be good, but I wouldn't. Opti boards on the threshys suck, and there regs are garbage. 07 egos are arguably the best egos ever made. Not counting the 2010/2011.....

Stick with the Ego, I've owned both and the Ego was much better. The threshold has a poor feeling shot.

Getting the itch to play again. I've got my eye on two different markers
Karni or Rapper?
I'd like opinions from people that have experience with both, obviously.

I had an FX, if I was you I would take the G4 over the FX, if you want a DP gun.. I own a Etek 3 now.
