Official Ego11 Solenoid Settings Thread
I think one of these would be useful, so here it is.
Post your solenoid settings and how it corresponds to its achievable balls per second, as well as feet per second if your adjusting the front knob. Please also make sure you post the loader you are using.
I am currently running these settings:
Rear: 1
Front: 7
Using a stock dye rotor.
I am easily hitting the cap of 12.0 that is on my gun.
This ego shoots very very smooth.

I myself am curious on how much you can lower both knobs before getting lower than 12.0 bps and a velocity of 285. Will be testing and posting results when I get my hunter ego11 in

Shoots +/- 2
Absolute dream to shoot zero kick and I am getting 850 shots (what I carry) from a 45/4500 4000psi hot fill and still have 2000psi cold after all my paint is gone. This is using a Pooty 51 Modded TechT Hush bolt. I will test it out with the modded stock bolt when I get it back at the end of this week.

Does the gun hit 12.5 consistently at those settings?

Set both solenoid knobs to 10, then lower dwell as low as possible without getting drop off. That will increase your cycle speed quite a bit. Due to the dwell being lower, it will also double for better efficiency. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Hope you enjoy the hunter... try in on the stock settings first, then try tuning with the silenoid, thats what i did and you can feel the difference right away! very fun, and a great way to learn about the 11.
I am also wondering what is the softest/smoothest settings while hitting 10bps. If anyone knows, lmk!

You ALL need to add what kind of loader you are using when you post your settings.
e.g. I know that settings that will hit 12bps with a Prophacy may only hit 9-10bps with a Rotor, or visa versa.
So you need to know what loader you are running too to get an accurate idea of whether someone elses wettings might work on your gun.

Jack would you care to explain that? Not really understanding how any hopper wouldn't keep up with these low rofs

The longer you make the cycle of the gun (the slower the bolt moves back and forth) the less time the bolt is open to load a ball.
e.g.
10bps = 100 milliseconds per shot, total cycle time.
Let's say (for simplicity) that you set the gun to take 33ms to travel forward and 33ms to travel backwards, then that leaves 34ms to load a ball. A Rotor may take 40ms to load a ball where a Prophacy might take just 30ms to load a ball.
So with those gun settings (33ms forward, 33ms backwards) the Prophacy will hit 10bps (it's total on-gun cycle time will be 96ms) but the Rotor will not, because it's toatal cycle time (forwards + backwards + load) equals 106ms wich gives you less than 10bps.
The point is, if you critically time the cycle speed of the gun to hit a certain mechanical BPS with YOUR loader, those same setting smight not work for someone else with a different loader.

I have a rotor and want a smooth shot but still hitting about 15 bps
But one side note.
I play in the UWL and they have a 15bps cap. They allow a ROTOR mod using only 2 AA batteries. Making the loader feed slower. Knowing that what will the best settings be for my application?
Thanks Jack and sorry for the curve ball.
