Charging the solenoid?

When I turn on my marker I have to pull the trigger multiple times before the bolt fires. As long as I keep firing its fine. The longer the time between trigger pulls the more times I have to "charge it". Any one else have these issues? Is it just a dwell setting? I was messing with the settings when this happened and now I have reset board to default settings and it still happening. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx

Sounds like FSDO. Increase your FSDO setting or increase your LPR, 100psi max.

If the board you have doesn't have an FSDO/ABS setting, you may need to increase the dwell instead.

You could try different o-rings to get a smoother sliding bolt assembly - combat bolt stick that way.

Try a fresh, quality, name brand battery - if the battery is low, it could be effecting the solenoid's ability to cycle.

Well I turned up my LPR and for the most part that seemed to work. I still had a couple instances where after the first trigger pull the bolt moved enough to put a ball in the barrel. Then i had to let it fall out so I didnt have to shoot through it. It is not the battery as I alreay tried that, but thanks for the mention. And I have a APE board so there is no FSDO setting. I will mess with the dwell though. My team did place second today in a 7 man woodsball tourny, so it worked well enough for that.

If you have the APE board, you do have adjustable anti-bolt stick. On the original APE board, it is found under the marker control setpoints, and is referred to as bolt stick dwell. On the Gen 4 boards, it is referred to as anti-bolt stick dwell.
