I'm writing this message from Cal-Jam right now, I've been shooting the Crome all day. Super smooth and putting down ropes of paint. It's the most fun gun to shoot that I've ever played with. Glad to own one

Yeah, it was easily the smoothest shooting gun at the event. Extremely quiet as well.

Woo, 3 members; this thread will last forever
Consistency improved alot when using my sidewinder, not that the CP is bad; but it's not the best in colder weather.

Yeah, I've really wanted to try a sidewinder. They seem to be the best thing you can get really. My CP was getting +/- 2 over the chrono this weekend though so I'm pretty happy with that

Once I resolve my trigger issues (missing parts) I will be at fell potential. But even without the magnet return it still feels great!
One of us should do like a full technical breakdown on the gun. Not much info out there about these, a few youtube vids but other than that not much.

Yeah it's by far the easiest gun to take apart and maintain. It was designed very well and very user friendly.

Let me know if they can't get it (they should) and I'll explore some other options.
Haven't had a response from my other source yet.

There's alot of meat on it though, it's a light gun; but it could be lighter.
Compared to some of my other spoolvalves the walls on the tube of the body are very thick.

Maybe it's a good thing it's a bit thicker. My clone was paper thin and super light but I bet that's what gave it kick in the first place.

The ONLY thing I wish was different on the Crome would be do have the reg a little bit further out so you can hold the gun better. But the thing is when I'm playing I don't really hold it there so it doesn't actually matter haha
Think getting the bolt Pooty polished would help any? The only thing I'm worried about are the tolerances on the bolt, they seem to be pretty fragile already.

Don't, polishing a bolt makes it smooth. Smooth is bad.
There won't be anywhere for the lube to "stick" on a smooth surface so the parts will wear out faster.

i was thinking the same thing. even got a quote. it seems that just raising the dwell above stock can remove any FSDO/BS though

That's what I was thinking, just wasn't sure what the effects may be. I had the BW bolt on my old DM7 and that really helped it out. However not really by that much.
I also find myself having to lube the Crome after about a case of paint anyways, the lube tends to come off and gets a bit sticky on the bolt. I've used MonkeyPoo on it previously however the MilitiaLube works better and stays on a bit longer. I made it through about 2.5 cases before getting slight bolt stick.
