NT11 bolt tips and spacers for old NT?

Anyone know if Dye is offering or will be offering the new tips and body spacers that the new NT comes with as an available upgrade for the old NT's?

we are all still waiting to hear what dye will offer (if anything) as upgrade/update kits for the 2010 nt
im particualarly waiting to see if they will offer the new spool and plunger stem for the 2010 nt to fix the chewed up bumper problem, thats what i really want.... the bolt insert you can drill out your self easy enough especally now that they gave the insert dimensions. as for the spacers i couldnt care less as i have never used any of them. the noid manifold would be sweet if they released it but who knows what is goin to happen

it's not that easy, if you don't have a drill press and extra bolt tips and inserts to try it with... try it yourself without the tools and with handdrill = fail just waiting to happen.

i personally would rather just buy a $1 new tip that's the slightly larger than blue insert

i used a hand drill and dremel and sand paper..... worked just fine you just have to be patient, wrap the insert with hockey tape for grip and use the dril then use the dremel for fine grinding and then the like 1600 grit sand paper to smooth it all out after.... done. its not rocket science

here is the official word from Chris:

Thanks for getting in touch. I hope that I can answer your questions to the best of my abilities. To answer your first question, at some point we will offer the parts or a kit to update your 2010 nt into the 2011 bolt kit. We don’t have a solid time frame nor do I know the cost. When it does become available it will be on our online store and available through our authorized dealer network. Please don’t expect this for some time.

Thank you for everyone's help.

Can anybody measure the new insert so those of us with drills can try to match it?

I'll pay the money for the new bolt and tip assembly when it comes out, but damn $1500-1700 for a gun that didn't shoot right for ages ? Mine was a paint and bumper destroyer for months ! Even with the new parts its still all over the chrono + - 10 regardless of paint or setup. Only Dm's since the 5 all the way to the NT a break for existing owners would be nice.

290-305 is great for my gun and that is with bore matched evil...

there are times when it shoots 290-292-290..280..295.. i consider that pretty decent heh

i dont think the nt is any less of a gat though, but every single gun is different. the dm's didn't seem to be like that

+/- 15 seems a bit wide of a range for any high end marker, especially with bore matching and depending on the grade of evil. The +/- 5 I'd consider the expected range for the hyper regs. I was able to get six shots within 292-295 back to back over bored with re-balls with the white insert (Green prototype) but the reg pressure was like 145.

Yeah +/- 15 isn't ideal, I've rebuilt my HPR since then.. it still shoots people, but so does my dm7 and the dm7 does it at +/- 5. I am with mfitz, I will probably wait maybe even 2 years for a new model now especially after seeing what they were selling to people at cup. I know at least 3 people that had genuine trouble with the gun and one that they had to just flat out replace.

So any official dimension to bore the inner side of the bolt for the NT10 bolts to take spacers?
