Chopping issues, need some help

I have been having some chopping issues lately, and I need some help. I don't think it's due to paint or temperature because both of the times I chopped paint, I was indoors. Anyways, the first time it started chopping, and I couldn't figure out anything to cause it. This time though, it was shooting fine, until after a while when I was about out of air, it started to chop. So I took apart the gun, and after cleaning out all the paint, I found this:

The white oring thing (which for me isn't a white oring thing, it's just a plain oring) at the bottom arrow was up where the second arrow was or higher up. Is it okay to have an oring instead of the white bumper, and could this cause chopping? If not, what could have? Thank you in advance.

The bumper (the part you are referring to) is free to move, and probably only ended up where it did during disassembly - in normal use, the bolt would always push it back to where it should be.

Even though you were indoors, bad paint could still be an issue - for instance, if it hadn't been stored correctly.

Paint can be damaged inside your loader, and then break inside the marker. If you have an adjustable loader, try lowering the speed and/or tension adjustment and see if that helps.

Check that you have both ball detents in place, and that they are both under reasonable tension - weak detents could lead to double feeding. If the ball in the breech shifts, and allows a second ball to partially feed, then that second ball could get chopped.

Check that the o-ring in the breech is in good condition .

Try increasing the eye delay on your board, so that the bolt doesn't close too early in the cycle.

I don't think it was the paint, I just got it that day and haven't had issues with it before.

Most likely it wasn't the hopper because it chopped with a Reloader B and a Pinokio.

However, I will have to inspect the breach oring and the detents, and adjust that setting. Thanks for your help.

Also, because Uziel may have missed it, that white plastic washer should be a white plastic washer and not a simple black or urethane buna oring.

Alright, that would pretty important I guess. I'll have to find one somewhere. Does anyone know where I could get one, or should I just call Critical?

I glossed over the bumper, I have to admit, as you probably could get away with an o-ring, if it were of an appropriate specification, but yes, the washer is the correct part, and what you should be using if at all possible.

Yes, Critical would be your best bet for the washer.
