I honestly appreciate both your thoughts on this topic. I agree 100%. Absolutely nothing can be more irritating to a tech than a marker owner trying to adjust a marker to stats given from someone 2000 miles away or +_ 2000 feet above/below sea level from where you are.

Manufacturers place recommended settings in the instructions for a reason. Almost all state they are a base to start with. I can't tell you how many ballers are still alive today because for some reason "GOD" gave me patience for a split second at the moment of truth!

You should start a thread in this area! I would bet that owners other than the Creed would chime in.

I think it's been said over and over in most forums. The problem is not in the telling, it's in the reading comprehension. It's human nature to search for the magic bullet. Next we're going to see threads about anal ease working awsome lol.

I'm not saying grease won't make it shoot smoother, I use "minute" amounts of Slick Honey on my GEO. What I'm saying is grease applied improperly will with out doubt foul something up. Hater Sauce especially due to the low viscosity.

I've rebuilt a half dozen Creeds with the owner saying it just stopped shooting. Upon taking it apart and replacing almost every o-ring, I find Hater Sauce and Sleek Lube with sand and dirt in all the areas the owner didn't think to clean!

There is no mistaking Hater sauce.
It should be noted that most noids are grease friendly and even come prelubed from the factory BUT.......... mac noids are oil only by design. So yes, grease can be a problem.

Hence the reason I use barely any slick honey at all. I've never had any blowing out of my noid or getting inside(I've checked). The creed rammer is sealed and I never take my tank off of my gun so most debris is prevented(unless I get a dirty fill). Should it ever break down or need a cleaning I'm fine with that. All noids fail eventually anyway no matter how well you treat them. I'd rather have the lower LPR pressure and risk it. For anyone who isn't a rebel like me...............USE OIL!

I swear by Vasoline!!! I have used nothing but since my planet days. I feel being able to use a petroleum base that will liquify when heat is introduced is great. Also I maintain my marker more than alot of people do
So seeing that I have never blown a nois nor have I seen one problem using this lube I do recommend this to everyone I speak with.

Yes I use vasoline! And I always will as it is one of the best avail and it's cheap. Every marker that comes into the Warranty center leaves with Vasoline in all the parts in the marker.

LOL. Ya vaseline is almost the same as slick honey in consistency. For all I know they're exactly the same. SH just smells worse.

Eric are you putting it in the regs only? Or regs and on the rammer? Anywhere else I don't want to know.....
