How often do I lube my luxe?

I put roughly a case through it, and just kinda wiped off the outside. Didn't touch the bolt, is my gun still good to put another case through it tomorrow without lubing it before play? Thanks.

Unless you broke paint in your breach or anything, it should be fine. I've put over 10 cases on a single lube without any problems. If it still shoots I wouldn't touch it

I would lube it if I were you, after ten cases your velocity can be all over the place and your gun prob isnt as consistant as it would be with a fresh Lube. As for the first post, If you have the time to lube it then do it if I were you, it certainly can't hurt the gun. LOL its not like you need to bring out a tool set.

It's been lubed since then. I'm just saying that if the gun works, I don't know why you would lube it, if only one case has been through it. Just my personal preference. I shot my luxe at Mao from the beginning all the way to the finals in xball without a single problem.

Lube it after every day of play. Wipe off everything and apply a fresh coat of lube. This can prevent any future problems from occurring.

I agree it doesn't take any time to lube, so wipe off/down and rub it down with some Monkey Poo, Lurker Lube, Sl33k, or your preference after every day or two of play.

I go 8-10 cases. Overlubing can cause major issues in the manifold and noid.

Ragin - do you do your shocker the same?
I know that when the noid vents any "excessive" grease tends to build around it (exhaust).... so again, you have a point. But then do you recommend, any oil on the orings?
Otherwise I cant see the orings being slick, but instead being dry from the friction, and chewing through them. I believe that is why there are so many Urethane Orings in the Luxe, they handle heat and friction better than buna.

On my old G3 after about 10 cases, I'd have to remove the grip frame and wipe around the noid, from excessive grease being exhausted out of it. So I can definitely see your point, but still worry about the orings, and friction in the powercore.

Ive always treated my shockers the same way. The orings always have lube still on them when I do lube it. There may be friction but the grease doesnt magically disappear. When you think about it, 10 cases is only 20k cycles. Thats not really that much.

The reg piston and the noid see just as many cycles as the bolt but I dont see everyone pulling them apart after every case.

In my experience, spoolies work best if you lube them every 5 cases or so but anywhere to in the 2 to 10 cases window is fine.

How often for your particular marker will depend on temp, thickness of the lube you choose and how much lube you apply.

When my velocity becomes a little erratic, like a jump from +-5 to +-15.
