Intensity Sports?

Does anyone know what's up with Intensity. They're closed and a sign on the door says they're remodeling, but the entire store looks empty. Are they going out of business? I sure hope not...

Any info would be appreciated.

Actually my buddy is buying out the inventory and I helped him take all of it to his place.he's got the compressor and all hardware but no gear. So yes. Intensity is no longer.
But you can pm me if your interested in buying anything that was left.

Dylan's not married, I wonder if he meant Dylan's Dad. It's sad to see them go. They were a real asset to us and really helped us in a number of ways.

No, Intensity Sports was just a paintball store. The MOFOs used to practice at the old Paintball Challenge in Round Rock. That field was bought out by someone unrelated to Intensity. It's now called XPC Paintball or challenge or something. As best I can tell, it's going down hill fast as well.

Sad for Austin that no one can operate a successful store or field. Maybe it'll turn around one day.

from what i can tell it looks like Webers is trying to lock down all the surrounding areas for airball- they really stepping up in a big way for the players

Definitely. Weber's is really doing a great job. $10 entry, no BYOP fee, free water, misters, fans, etc., and they just purchased a 2010 Sup'Air RaceTo bunker set. They always have great refs out as well and on top of all that everyone involved in running the store, the range, and the paintball field are just top notch - very polite, well mannered, and really interested in what they can do to create an even better environment.

OK, last I heard they disbanded at the end of last year after NPPL Vegas for the most part. I know some of their players have been playing with Outbreak in some tournaments this year.

It sounds like Intensity has minimally sold off some of their inventory - I just wonder if they're done or going to attempt to restart the store.

How did the MO FO's get brought into this conversation? haha The mo fo's are broken up and just play for fun occasionally. They all just want to play for fun and not have to worry about all the drama in tournament paintball anymore.

Now back on topic of intensity... I hope its not true that they are going out of business because Dylan and Mikey were top notch guys! I respect both of them to the fullest!

If it is true then I would like to thank them for all they did for austin paintball since they had been in business. Anyone that has done business with them can vouch that they only tried to promote paintball in the right way! Thank you guys!

I agree whole heartedly. These guys really helped us out a lot when we were just starting out and as you said, Dylan and Mikey are top notch guys. I'd love to see the store stay open, but if not, I wish them the best in whatever they choose to do next.

With this shop gone (I always meant to stop in) what's the closest pro shop for RR residents now?

Weber's has a pretty good selection, but I'd check their hours as they may not be open all the time. Also, Pro Shop Paintball in San Antonio is a good store and they have an onsite Planet Eclipse certified tech. There may be others closer but I'm not aware any.

Yeah I want something close. I've never been to webers or PSP.

If you just want air or a chrono, you can go to XPC. Usually thursday through Sunday but always best to call ahead to be sure

I need to tune my gun, it's been in my bag for 5 years and I don't have enough air to get it back to shape.

So yeah, I guess XPC could work.
