Gettin' back in the sport
Hey everybody!
I joined the army 3 years ago, and now I'm back in Texas going to school at A&M. Can anyone give me a rundown on the paintball scene in the Central Texas area (Waco, Houston, Austin area)?
Thanks,
Murk

Smoke. Cool! I need to buy some gear first though. I sold all my old stuff before I went to Basic and now I'm currently browsing Actionvillage to see what all the new gear is.

webbers in troy is good if you have 4 other people to play with, xpc is round rock is good if you have 4 other people to play with or you can make friends easily the field sometimes (usually) is set up properly but if your not planning on playing any tournaments its gravy, maximum in san marcos, field is always set up right might hear some complaining about not getting time to play but if you want it bad enough you can always get on, and these are all tournament fields if you were wonduring. the reffing jobs at webbers and max are outstanding so you wont have to worry about dirty cheaters AS much.

Thanks for the info. ROFL.
Oh, and yeah this may sound toolish, but one thing the army teaches us is to shoot the enemy until you see grey matter (brains) on the ground...I believe this doctrine is the only way to deal with cheaters.

Yea, if you go to A&M come out to one of our practices. We play every wednesday in the Read athletic building (rec annex to kyle field) on the fourth floor from 6-10 pm. PM if you want some more info...
