Searching for a part..
I know it is an extreme long shot, but I am trying to locate an FEP barrel back in dust black with a .690 bore... Not to make it harder on myself, but I want it to have the FEP logo on it and not 007... Really what I am trying to say is that somewhere along the line someone swapped out a stock back with that back in a kit that I bought and I want it to be whole again... As I said... Its a long shot but to me one worth taking...

Well my kit has a .687, a .693, and a .696...
From what I have read, I am missing a .690 and based on the other sizes in my kit, that would be logical...

Is it stamped .689? That would be strange because from what I know about Quests, the older ones had a stock .696 and the newer barrels had a stock .691. Either way, no thanks ceo...

Yep, it is stamped with 0.689. Got it with my quest, when I got it 3 years ago.
The serial number is 777, so it is a early one as they started at 666, I believe.

Which logo is on the side? Is it the FEP logo or 007?

If I remember correctly, Quests started with 0.689 barrels. When overboring became all the rage, FEP switched to 0.696, but a lot of people thought this was *too* big, so the calibre was then lowered to 0.691.

mine came with a .689. perfect size. near as i can remember the kits came with a .87,. 92.96. or a 89, 93, and 96. but i could be wrong about that.
i THINK they all came with a 007 logo, but i only have my stock barrel to go by. it has the logo. i dont know if the kits came with them. 007 is defintitely a stock barrel, whatever size.

Read the thread I linked please. The kits came with 4 backs and 1 14" front. They mostly had the FEP company logo on the backs and 007 was milled around the circumference of the tip. I am hoping someone has my .690 in their gearbag...

If this is a parts searching thread, i have a critical trigger and need a stock trigger!!! will pay or THINK about trading (the critical is a much better trigger but i have always liked the scythe design)

Thanks Ceolite... Definitely not the one I am looking for... I know for sure that I am looking for a 690 bore with the old company logo and not the "007" I am looking very hard as I want to build an all custom timmy and anno the kit to match... or maybe just have my Quest annod and the kit to match... who knows... probably a custom species or alias build and 1 of a kind anno...
