Why go through a whole new process. How about the rosters on APPA get updated by the team's. on the day of the event everyone who comes to play, shows an ID and signs in. Fox4 personnel then check the roster of your respected team and if your on there, then check it off...if your not, then you dont play. This way the ONLY people to blame is the person in charge on your team of running the APPA. That way there is no additional costs to the players. Fox4 personnel can print out all the rosters and use that as the check/sign in sheet along with a photo ID.

To me, that is simply the fastest, easiest and cheapest way to fix the issue.

That's pretty much what I already said - we (Fox 4) need to enforce the sign-in process.

It is the fields / my fault for not enforcing the team sign-in process. Growing pains as we move from being a "little" tournament that only local (meaning teams from our field) play at to being something bigger and more regional based. We'll adjust as we need.

Sorry if I misunderstood your original statement then. I was under the impression that you wanted us (as players) to purchase ID's from APPA and use them instead of a more "simple" approach.

No..The APPA ID would be required for 2012 if regular Government issue IDs don't do the trick - along with us being a bit more strict in checking rosters and ids.

Just goes to show, cheaters always win.....had they not cheated we probably would have taken first, seeing how we were only 28 points out of first going into the last event. If it was Fair all season we probably would have been leading instead of second, which would have changed things.

for real, Dave has addressed this quickly, he has the best customer service in the business IMHO. He was quick to address the concerns from FoxBall this season as well. I would consider the issue dealt with.

i say we close this nonsense thread looks its done an over with noone really cheated they just rostered different players nothing in the rules says you have to have the same roster every evvent as long as they didnt have rusty glaze or yosh rau play with them or even tyler harmon i dont think its as big of a deal as everyone is making it ... its a local tournament in a d5 format really lets not get the panties in a bunch

next year they bump up if they have any skill they can compete in the higher division which i know a few of these kids do an will be fine

so lets brush this all off until next year its over with done with an nothing else is gonna come of this except stupid useless bickering ..

move on prepare for next year an beat them on the field not on a forum..

if anything the team has a bad name now thats about as far as i see things going

As Dave has pointed out, the roster issues will be resolved next season. There's nothing left to discuss, so to avoid continuing arguments I'm closing this thread.
