if you use the plasma repeaters and turn the damage up and shileds of so u die with one shot, it seems just like paintball =p

I actually used spikers, since they arc like real paintballs.

well, i'd say use the 1x1 or 1x2 blocks (not sure which would be better) as the cakes and use 2 1x1 or 1x2 blocks overlapped for bricks.

I get a file not found notice when I click on your download link for the Chicago open map.
Game settings we changed to make it more like paintball:
1 life per round
lower jump height to 75%
give sprint/evade loadout options
gun damage up to 300%
Shields at 0%
no grenades
melee 0% dmg
no radar
turn off nameplates
spiker gun
thinking about adding a flag in there but haven't gotten around to it
I'm probably forgetting a couple things but anything else you guys did?

Everything in bold we already did. We took out jumping cause it was way too overpowered. You could jump around the map and basically never get hit. It's King of the Hill cause CTF created to much problems. Basically, the whole field is "the hill" and once all players from one team are eliminated, the other team will win.
And I'm fixing the Chicago map link now.

Ya when a flag is added if everyone dies the round is over and you can't run the flag. King of the hill works really well though. Jolt and I stayed up last night working on those things
