I recently got 2 NXT Shockers. 1 came with the SP Pro-touch grips and it is fine. The other came with the same grips but the previous owner cut them into panel grips and did not do a very good job. He also sent a set of Hybrid grips, the kind with the metal plates in the sides, and the screws for the pro-touch grips are too short. I looked on zdspb.com and found the section for screw info and tried a set of grip screws from my old Nerve. According to zdspb.com the stock NXT, SFT, and Nerve all use the same size grip screw. But when I tried it looked like iff I would tighten them down 100% it would hit the upper board. Iff the upper board didn't have the little safety dip in the side the screw would've deffinately caused some serious damage. I was wondering iff there was an in-between size that would work with the Hybrid grips without hitting the upper board?

The short screws that ZDS Paintball sells should work. I used them with hybrid grips in the past.

The guns came with the short screws for the sp pro-touch grips and they are not long enough. Only 1-1 1/2 threads go through the grip.
I just re-checked it and only like 1 thread or less goes through.

Yea, I have a set of SP pro touches and the screws that come with them are really short. I think the ones sold on ZDS are slightly longer. I can't say for sure as I haven't ordered a set for awhile.

The other option would be to grind down the tips of the longer screws you have until they are the correct length.
