Sweetheart Massacre

The date is February 13, 1929. Location Chicago, Illinios. Two gangs during this time, The South Side Italians led by Al Capone and the North Side Irish led by Bugs Moran are in a power struggle for control of the criminal underworld of this area.

This date is the day before what is known as the Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre. On the morning of Thursday, February 14, 1929, St. Valentine's Day, five members of the Bugs Moran gang, Reinhardt H. Schwimmer and John May were lined up against the rear inside wall of the garage of the SMC Cartage Company (2122 North Clark Street) in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago's North Side. They were then shot and killed, possibly by members of Al Capone's gang, possibly by "outside talent" (that is, gangsters from outside the city who would not be known to their victims), most likely by a combination of both.

Come and help Al Capone carry out his plan to rid Chicago of the North Side Irish, or join forces with Bugs Moran against the South Side Italians and change history of that dark Thursday 14, 1929 morning. All while trying to work or against the police of Chicago.

Back by popular demand Oliver Lang will be teaching a clinic at All Star Paintball Arena AND hosting a Young guns tournament. On Saturday September 18th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. the clinic will be happening, and the following day starting at 9 a.m. will be a "true" young guns tournament for ages 16 and under.
Oliver will serve as host, guest referee, and floating coach for all teams participating that day. This is an innovative concept to the area, and All Star is pleased to be bringing you the opportunity to participate.
What follows is a break down of the clinic pricing and then the tournament information.
Pre-registration (1 month before) for clinic is $125.00 which includes air, 1 case of paint, and lunch ( 2 slices of pizza and a drink). If you sign up for the clinic within 30 days of the 18th of September the price goes to $155.00.
The tournament is a 3 man young guns, priced at $150 per team, with tournament paint that day for $60 a case. An all Dye prize package will be given which will be determined in the coming weeks (it will be fantastic as always). As well, trophies will be awarded for 1st through 4th.
**** For those who participate in the clinic and then do the tournament, the entry for the tournament will be reduced to $120.
**** As a side note, the clinic is in no way, shape or form only for younger players-- just the tournament. This clinic is for all ages and all levels of play. We are having Oliver back because he did such a phenomenal job at the last All Star clinic at catering to all ages and abilities. Matt's Outback is proud to announce something new for 2011 season, and no it's not another series or league! Along with hosting the USPA at our field we are also looking forward to a 1 or 2 day tournament which ends with a winner each event. Prizes will be cash, broken down from the entry fees: 1st 65%, and 2nd 35% if there's not 10 teams. Rules will be following PSP D3 2011 handbook. Reffing will be done my your wonderful No Name squad. This will also be a race to 5 event.

Rosters:
- 12 man roster
- Division 3
- Two division 2 players allowed, nothing higher.
