Quick question about hosing

Ok so i've owned my STO since 02 and have recently rebuilt it. it's in pretty good condition with palmers pneumatics and an STO 3-way

but i can not for the life of my keep the hoses on the barbs. they keep blowing off. What causes this?

the ends strech out over time. cut a small bit off the end and refit. or your lpr is too high.

LPR pressure is either to high or you have tiny barbs on the 3way.

Try getting the tophats that screw onto the barbs.

Clean and relube your LPR, may be spiking.

IIRC cocker hose is 1/8th inch OD and 1/16th inch ID.

It's not timmy/ion hose, and if your barbs are good and the hose is brand new, and your LPR is correct...

Your tubing's too big. But chances are you have your LPR up to high. Lower it to zero, pull/hold the trigger and up the LPR until the back block pushes the cocking rod all the way back and ad a quarter turn more.

You shouldn't need a much higher LPR than that.

Also make sure there is no oil on the barbs when you put on your hoses.
