Dwell Question
My NXT with stock can and sprung HE bolt ran at 10ms dwell. I switched to a one piece can and took the HE o-ring off in anticipation of the Eigen bolt and now it runs at 15ms dwell. I used the same can o-rings so what is the technical reasoning behind the increase in dwell? Obviously it is because I removed that o-ring but I wasn't sure of how that plays a factor in dwell. Can anybody explain that to me?

Does the bolt slide differently in the can? The same o-rings that work in one can will be different in another can.

Come to think of it I DID NOT use the same o-rings...think if put the original ones back in the dwell will go down? The bolt does not seem to slide any differently in the can.

your o rings shouldnt matter THAT much.. its sprung so you should be running at the same dwell as before..

im not saying they dont matter.. but really 5 ms more? thats 15 ms on a sprung bolt that seems a bit high i was able to run mine sprung at 8 or 9 ms no problem with brand new o-rings..
