D2 has 9 teams - Top 4 make the playoffs
D3 has 17 teams - Top 8 make the playoffs
D4 has 28 teams - Top 12 make the playoffs
Pump has 10 teams - Top 4 make the playoffs

True, but the number of teams that go to playoffs is the same for 25-30 or 32 teams (forgot the exact number).

Typo on the number of teams but "sandfreestyle" is correct. For D4, the number of team that make the playoff is 12 if the number of participating teams range from 21 - 30...
Please reference pages 14-16 of the PSP 2009 Points Rule within Section 6: Tournament Structure.
