eye covers

My eye coveres have been popping off lately and I can't of what would be causing it. I have already changed the sft o-ring several times and it does it no matter what. I also started putting lube on the sft o-ring, it seemed to help a little but they still pop off. Any suggestions? I just dont like the fact that I'm having to wrap my $1500 gun in electrical tape.

check the magnets, they might have a weak attraction or could be reversed

Well I don't think it's the magnets because I just bought a new accent kit not 2 weeks ago. The magnets seem incrediably strong because I struggle with getting them off when the front end of them pop out.

Put a 17/90 on the SFT oring. That should help. If you don't have any 17/90's try putting a green 17/70.

I saw a guy at my local field today who just wrapped a thin black buna o-ring up around his regulator, over the front of the gun, then onto the top of it in front of the feed neck so it put a lot of pressure on the eye covers so they wouldn't fall off. These magnetic eye covers are dumb...I hope DLX puts hinge ones on the next gen of their markers.

Are you underboring your paint?

It could also be that you are installing your eye covers incorrectly.

I have just been using the SFT o-rings that came with the kit when I bought the gun. Also used some o-rings from the o-ring monkey rebuild kit and still had the same problem.

Yea 17/90 orings are harder orings and will seal better. Contact oring-monkey they can send you some.
