Stock trigger slop?

For such an expensive gun, really? The stock trigger wiggles side to side more than any other gun I have ever had. I just got my first luxe and I need to know if there is a problem here or if that is just the nature of teh stock trigger? Should i get a new trigger like a violent series?

There should be zero slop in the trigger. Try loosening all the set screws in the trigger, make sure it's in the correct position between the holding screws and tighten them from there. Once the trigger is in the correct place in the frame, you can readjust where you want it to sit and the pre and post travel.

there should be NO side to side? because the thing is wiggling like a wet noodle right now. Do I need to take the frame off the body and tighten the screws holding down the trigger?

Take off your grips, and make the two screws holding the trigger flush, then do equal turns until they can't thread anymore and there should be 0 side to side. Put some blue loctite as well since the screws have a tendency to loosen. If you need any help, i'll be at arena tommorow.

Thats probably the case, I will take the grips off and see if the trigger is loose when I get home. Another thing I did not like is the snap screws leave the grips loose and shaking around on the gun. It makes for a wobbly feel and it could potentially rub and or pull on the eye ribbon. Does anyone else have this problem with the snap screw grips?

Snap grips screws sometimes distort the grips. If you have 4, just use 2 on the speaker side and use regular screws on the other side. If the grips are excessively loose, i'd suggest just switching back to regular screws. Although i liked my snap screws since its convenient if your tuning.

Lets just bring it back to the topic... How worth is it to really get an aftermarket trigger? Has anybody been able to tune their trigger to absolute perfection fairly easily? I know perfection is different for everyone, but how easy is trigger tuning? I shot angels for 8 years and although I went through about 7 of them i could NEVER tune a trigger to exactly my preference. I could just never get it right! I hope the luxe isnt my 8th angel lol.
