We would love to do an event in Vegas or Reno. But truth be told we would have to have a solid field to hold it at. To do it at a casino parking lot would raise the entry fees a thousand dollars per team. If our teams could afford it we would do it in a heartbeat. But talk is cheap and most teams are BROKE.

"wouldnt profit enough" and "could not afford it" are 2 different things. And doing something with the intent to literally lose a lot of money cause lack of support is another. Now thats outright dumb economics. Every city that PSP has held an event in this year has not had the numbers as in previous years.

The only matter is having those venues (at a field or not) is inexpensive to the league so those savings are passed down to us players.

very true. And if enough teams in that area actually pay in advance and show up. Would be pointless to take an event to another city and have less teams sign up than teams traveling to the location.

Ya most teams are penny pinching the low cost for wcppl atm, so I doubt increasing it to take it elsewhere would be worth it.

everyone would love to go to vegas, but no one will want to pay haha.
the whole playing on an existing field thing is nice. its cheaper and you are giving back to paintball and not some other business. thats what keeps us alive.
