Do you have a loader on the marker when you try and turn it on?
Is the red eye element installed on the right hand side of the marker (looking at the marker from the back)?
Fresh, quality, alkaline battery?

Dwell to 14.5ms.
If you have no first shot drop off, leave the FSD setting at 0. If your first shot in a string is lower than the rest, then you need to increase the FSD setting until you find a value that allows the first shot to have the same velocity as the rest. No magical number unfortunately, you need to find the value that works for your own marker.

I was wondering if this scenario would be covered by warranty.
Tomorrow I have a tournament, and it's supposed to be muddy and rainy. If I get water/moisture inside my grips from this and my board no longer functions, is it covered under warranty?

are there any other lubes than the pe grease that can safely be used on my geo2 that will not void the warranty?

Double feeding shouldn't be an eye issue. More likely your detents are worn and/or your loader is placing too much tension on the ball stack.
As for low velocity, are you using an HP output tank? The Geo needs an HP output tank to get good velocity (there is an accessory reg spring for the Geo's inline reg for use with LP output tanks if required).
Your battery could be low.
Your dwell could be set incorrectly.
If you have the ST kit, your volume restrictors could be installed.
You could be shooting very small paint through the large stock barrel.
Your bolt tip o-ring may need replacing.
The back check ball in the solenoid could be dirty or too small.
The can's pin hole could be too large.
You could try backing out the VVC screw and increasing dwell.

Locate your closest service center. Call them ask them if they have a replacement, or call the Rhode Island store and ask them. *Or email.

My GEO is having trouble turning on, I played with it one night, then the next day I set the dwell down some and screwed the VVC in most of the way, tested it it shot great, then i turned the gun off... I have managed to turn the gun on 3 different times since then but it is all hit or miss on getting it to turn on... any ideas?

Probably too obvious a solution, but have you tried a fresh, quality battery?
When you have problem turning the marker on, do you have a loader installed?
Try loosening the board screws, and pushing the board back towards the control console while tightening the screws - could be that the board buttons are a little too far from the console.

tried the gun with hopper on, and hopper off... still nothing

figured the issue out.. When the LCD and it's board separate a little the gun does not want to turn on... Pinch together and gun goes all good
