It'll probably work. Just make sure you apply the clear coat. Krylon fusion would be better though..

Wow these look pretty cool im for sure gonna do this.
but is it fine to paint the other half of the mask with the grills? I always mess stuff up (most recently trying to fix my iPhone glass and ended up with a broken LCD and melted middle chassis )

I'm going to say it should be fine, because its plastic, and the paint you are using bonds to plastic.
But... Its also a softer plastic. Therefor I'm not 100% sure you won't see cracks/breaks in the paint because the plastic is malleable.
Sorry about your iPhone, that sucks. Get Verizon. Free replacements!

I wouldn't recommend it. It will more then likely chip and crack terribly because of it's soft rubber material. I'd stick to the top half. Leave the bottom half as is.

didnt like the glare from the white, and saw the gold on sum1 at my fields very old jt mask with black lightnings...
here what i came up with(still deciding on the lightnings tho and how to paint the white on the vents or just do white lightning to try blend in)
kept the outside gold and black behind the lense to avoid the glare.
