SP-1 not shooting, HELP!

For some reason, my SP1 isn't firing. I put in new batteries and had a full tank of air. I don't know what the problem could be but I really don't know what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should check first? Do to solve the problem? Or should I go and blow $45 on "repairs"?

It makes the beeping sound when I pull the trigger, but nothing shoots, not even air.

Sounds dumb, but try a brand new name brand, from a different source. Remember SP-1 is extremely picky. Your "new fresh" battery may have sat on a shelf at the store for a while and lost some charge.

Are you sure you're getting enough air to the noid to cycle the gun?
One way to check if you're getting air is to remove the bolt and then put air on it for a second. If air blows out inside the breech then you're getting air.
When was the last time you lubed the bolt? You could have bolt stick.
Also service the reg with new lube if you've never done that.

If you've already put in an Energizer and not a Ray-O-Vac.. then I'd look at the velocity adjustment on the Reg.. Some folks have screwed it all the way closed without knowing it.

What he said, this happened when I had mine. Make sure to check your velocity adjustment adjustment.

i just found out i have the same issue. i tried the velocity adjustment, threading it in till i heard a crazy sounded psshhhhhhhhhh, then backed it off some. still no fire. i havent messed with it in a LONG time, i dont even want to say how long lol, so i'm going to be lubin it up tonight. dont have any reg specific lube so i'll leave that alone for now. also, are these regs the kind that purge the air after a while? mine just did that and it's been sitting without the tank for a few min, lol.
