Metal spiked shoes/cleats are prohibited. If your shoes/cleats have metal spikes, you will be directed off the field until such time when you return without them.

Would ceramic compression spikes be acceptable? They don't cut into the turf and damage it like metal spikes do. The X-mas tree ceramics shown below is built in multiple flat layers.

the problem i see with spikes isnt the turf, its the holes in all the bunkers.
