Yeah, it is a good thing, but my 7 year old is too young to play, poor thing feels like she gets left out of a lot. And my 11 year old is not really into playing. She might play a game or two every few times we are out, but she is more content to sit and read, load up pods with my 7 yr old, or work on the markers than actually playing. She is my smart one, and does not want to race either, but she is becoming really good at analyzing race data, learning how to work on the carts, set up the chassis, suspension, engine tune, etc. So they all have their skills and place. I can't make them be anything else, they have to just do what they are good at and comfortable with.
I am glad my gf finally started playing. When we first started dating I thought she would, as she is young (nearly half my age), and athletic and outgoing. She instantly got involved in other things we do- geocaching, camping, karting, astronomy. For some reason the whole idea of paintball just did not appeal to her, nor did shooting real guns, which we do a lot. After seeing how much fun the rest of us were having, and with some pressure from my kids she decided to at least try it last spring, and was hooked. It kind of bridged the gap to firearms also, and she now spends almost as much time on our range as I do. Now I just need to get her to go hunting with us...

Imagine what my ex's salary is if that is what she has to pay me. Our state guidelines go by how much she makes, how much I make, how many kids are supported, and the providing parent (her) cannot pay the custodial parent (me), more than 25% of their salary.

There is no way she would sell the HK Mini, it is her silver one that she is selling. She was going to get it custom ano'd and laser engraved as well, but now is going to have the Nano done.

I have a daughter who plays. It's hard not to indulge them when the outcome is a family playing together.

Don't know yet, it is on order. They should be coming in this week. They have a Warped Dark in black/orange coming in, will be looking at buying that one. We have a race next weekend, but the following weekend we will tentatively be playing, looking forward to using it.

for 4 children thats not that bad considering the fact that his ex wife owns a business and seems to be doing well.
child support is never a set in stone thing. the price one has to pay for it depends on their job and what the court determines they should pay.

If I'm ever blessed enough to have a son or a daughter, I'll gladly buy them fun stuff. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a loving father who spoils his kids once in a while. Seems like they hold up their end of the bargain, too.

I think it's awesome having your kids involved in a sport you do as well.
I've seen a few really small/young players in my time and the "grown man markers" are just simply too large for them. Unfortunately most parents don't think like you do or dont want to put that kind of money for juniors hobby and go the "if its too heavy to hold you need to wait a few years when we buy it for you" route and never mention paintball to their kids again.
After a long time asking I got my dad to try paintball and he got hooked instantly. That same night we ordered new markers for both of us, so having the rents playing helps them understanding what it's about. I personally think paintball is great for father/son bonding since in todays world everyone is busy doing their own thing and rarely get to spend quality time with the family.
To most of the guys replying to this thread, stop hating the fact that the man has his family playing and provides for them. Instead of going the "MOM/DAD, I want a new gun, gimme $1500" route and not having them involved what do you think the answer will be. Some are too cool to have parents around, that doesn't help it either. I'd buy a Geo2 for my kid, no hesitations, why wouldn't I? It's what I use and I wouldn't want him to run with anything inferior. If I didn't play I propably wouldn't see the point of pouring $XXXX in a TOY.

By that logic, your ex wife makes at least $768,000 a year. Most CEOs don't make that much - unless they have stock options that realise income.

I ****ing salute you. Why do people have to comment on the amount of money you make or don't make. I thought it was funny I was laughing at the description of the shopping list. I wish my family was into the sport.

Only a ******* would assume she is not investing. And most ceo's make more than that.
