So I havn't played in a while but I'm planning on playing again soon. I just want to find out for sure if my tank needs to be hydro'd or not.

You have a 3-year cylinder and according to that sticker you have it's not valid anymore.
So you need a hydro test, a full test and not just a visual inspection. Ninja, Crossfire, and other places will do a full hydro for 20-30 bucks usually.

Okay thanks. The whole "visual inspection" thing made me not sure about it. And I also have a place close to me that can hydro my tank.

Yeah I'll get it hydro'd before I play again. I have a place near me that can do it.

Yeah, going by what the sticker says that's only for visual inspection it seems like and even then it's only for a full year.
A full and proper hydro with the pressurized water and such will renew the tank for another 3-years and be DOT certified, which is really what you need rather then OSHA.

What does the little silver decal say? That looks like a rehydro sticker so there should be a date on it. Its good till 3yrs from that date

Yes the little silver thing says 3 and 08 (so March of 08) but in March of 08 it had a visual inspection.

the "silver thing" is the hydro label you are good until March 1st 2011

Okay thanks. I wasn't sure if that meant it was hydro'd on 3/08 or if it needed to to be hydro'd on 3/08.

The date is when it was hydroed. Add three years to that date and that's when it's due for the next hydro.

Okay thanks. I thought that it needed hydro in 08 and the previous owner got that visual inspection instead if getting it hydro'd. But now it all makes sense, thanks guys.
