Some of these are tough, guys like Bob Long or the Gardner brothers might be done as players, but their influence on the industry is far from over.
Bob Gurnsey
Bob Long
Lurleen Wallace (I believe she was the first woman to play)
Tom Kaye
The Palmers
Bud Orr
Rocky Cagnoni for certain
Ed Poorman is another great choice
Danny Love
Dave Youngblood
Matty Marshal
It would be sort of nice if there was a way for players to better connect with and understand the roots of the sport. In a lot of ways paintball is sort of a sport without a history, not a lot of people know jack about paintball before the day they first played themselves.
P.S. - I'm glad I wasn't the only one to want to make a joke about Jeremy Salm.

Dan Colby - (The pioneer of N2 in paintball, Founder or Air America) Think about it, while in the south N2 might not have been a big deal (outside of tourneys), In Chicago and all places up north, Without N2 you couldn't play 4 months out of the year.

How about the original founding members of the NPPL from 1992

I do not think anyone has said his name yet, his films have inspired many players to do things that they do to make the sport amazing.

I thought Tom Kaye was the one who thought to use compressed air on paintball guns. Team Nitro?

It needs to be broken into categories
Athletes, a tough one since many of paintballs legends have don more than just play the game, they have done it all. Pretty much induct Aftershock or the OG Ironmen and call it a day for this year...
Contributors, media and behind the scenes, an easy one.
Innovators, equipment related to start, game types created etc...Richmond Italia(HE MUST BE IN) is a name that comes to mind....
Nelson Paintball should receive some sort or 'Heritage" or "Generation" award for what they have done in creating and developing paintballs.
As far as DYNASTY, Ollie, and the newer guys, they can wait there turn, players came before them, let's not forget the men and women who paved the way, so they could change the game for the better....

Tom Cole and Gator Glaze two of the most recognized paintball players to ever play the sport!
