My Monitor died at work. I'm going from a "perfectly" calibrated 22 inch monitor to an 16 inch square that has an orange tone to it.

Try having a dad whos a photog and trying to explain why you want a 70-200 f/2.8 and not the 18-200 f/3.5-5.6.
That was a fun conversation on the bus on the way to the Airshow! LOL

Well, in his thinking the 18-200 is a more versatile lens because it has wider angle capabilities. Plus with the VR he gains a stop, or stop and a half I dont remember, so its just as fast.
He said that the only bonus was that its 2.8 all the way to 200mm, I said yeah thats why I want it for action stuff.
He knows his ****, he just thinks a little differently. He is like 50 something now.
Thanks Brian!

yeah, and this stupid little thing called image quality (you may or may not have heard of it, seeing as how you're a Nikon shooter ) is MUCH better in the 70-200 than that 18-200...but yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about that LOL

none at all. it was a high serial/blue dot so all of the focusing problems were already fixed. i'm going to be shooting a lot of parties/social gatherings because i am the historian and PR chair for my fraternity, so I will be shooting a ton. i just need to find someone that will trade.
