Where can I find a replacement internal body for an SP1? The grip frame screws AND the front banjo port are all stripped out.

If you buy a blackheart board, it comes with the breech, which is the part you mention has the stripped screws.

I'm interested in how you stripped out the front banjo in the breech, as the banjo bolts are usually very soft aluminium and tend to strip long before doing damage to the breech threads.

It's not mine. I'm an airsmith who is trying to repair an SP1 for a close friend. Where would I find the blackheart set up?

Good luck on finding the blackheart setup. You'll probably have to buy a used sp-1 to fix it. Or you might be able to use a heli-coil to fix it

I can helicoil the grip frame threads, BUT I am worried that the helicoil thread for the front banjo port is not going to work with creating a seal and it will leak.

Are you worried about it leaking between the frame and the helicoil? If so, then try some blue locktite on the helicoil when you install it You can also use a little blue locktite on the banjo also. Since its already striped it can't hurt anything.

There is another way to fix but it requires aluminum braze and a torch. The only thing is, you have to be careful not to get it too hot.

A thought. What size are ION banjo's? If they are bigger, maybe you can tap the SP-1 larger to fit a larger banjo?
