the problem with any kind of plastic bolt sleeve(delrin included) is that they will be much more wear sensitive. polycarb and delrin both scratch much easier than aluminum and are also less rigid so cutting them accurately is more challanging. If you are trying to save weight, the bolt sleeve is not the best place to do it.

sorry for the delay folks, the wrong diameter stock came in last week(1" od not 1.5"). I will be getting the correct stock and making them this comming week.

Pictures are updated on the first page with the latest revision of the clear can and I will be doing testing this week.

Also here is a sneak peak of a volumizing delrin tip for the ndz bolt guide. The tip design is still in the works to remove all the wasted volume but is comming along good so far. The tip also eliminates internal wear on the bolt and is half the weight of the stock aluminum tip. It also allows you to remove you bolt(bolt guide in the breech) with no fear of scratching the internals or bolt.

***UPDATE***6/30/10
The tester is done. I pressurized up the prototype clear can to 850+ psi from the hp nitro tank and it held just fine. I will be getting a video of the testing the final product very soon and it will be ready shortly after. Please note that on the tester the clear can is completely unsupported so when the clear can is in a real shocker it will be much safer.

everthing is being machined locally by murdock314. He is a fantastastic machinist to work with and is amazing at making parts dead on accurate.
