Thanks for any input guys.
It's a good time to go to Fort Knox in my opinion. I was there in February 2008 for 19D OSUT. It was so cold at Fort Knox I hated the winter. Being from New Jersey I am used to the cold winters, but everything seemed worse then! I had to qualify with my M16 in a pool of ice and freezing water! I was supposed to graduate in June of 2008 but after getting injured in my 7th/8th week, I got pulled from training and had to do two and a half months of rehabilitation to get a return to duty status. Because of that, I graduated in September 2008. It was really hot at the end of my training. "Heat Category 5" almost everyday, but I loved it.
I honestly loved every minute of being at Fort Knox for training. Fort Knox was not that bad, and I always loved when we went out in the field and did our FTX missions.
What's your MOS? If you're a 19D/19K that's cool. Anything else.. well, :-P
