I just got a vm 68, and have some questions...

So, I was at the flea market and ended up getting 3 guns from various venders for 25 dollars or below each. One of them was a vm 68. I had no clue what the gun was, I just thought it looked interesting and since it was 20 dollars, I bought it. It's pretty cool how it's for lefties and righties. Now, I got it home and screwed on a co2 tank to test it out and co2 started leaking through every hole in the gun. Then, I screwed the tank onto a remote cord, and screwed that into the gun, and it only leaked co2 out the barrel. Do I need to replace the part that the co2 tank screws into? Maybe the o-rings as well? Also, if anyone knows how to get one of these things open, I'm open to suggestions. There's a lot of screws and after some searching I read it was pretty complicated on the inside.

1) Buy Paintball oil. Oil FOR PAINTBALL. Not WD40 or anything like that. Put a few drops of paintball oil where you screw in the tank under the barrel. Put on the tank, and dry fire a few times.
2) Sounds like the Hammer or Cup Seal orings are busted. Open it up and check them. Replace them if they look worn or old at all, and lube them with the paintball oil. Replace the parts and try it again.

I'll try taking it apart. I'm hoping it's not as complicated as I read. I can run up to get some oil tomorrow, and I'll see how it goes.

I forgot tomorrow was father's day, so I'll be going to lunch with my grandfather...

The local shop charges to even look at guns, so that's a no go... Not the greatest shop to have locally. I'll try that link.

I'll check em out, and if they look dry rotted, I'll check into getting some new ones. I'll go to that link soon.
