thats almost as many letters as 'combat patch'.

if you dont have a combat patch, you wont be taken seriously. if you have one, and dont have a cib/cab/cmb, you wont be taken seriously either.

Do you still get taken seriously if you have a combat patch? When I was first in, pre Iraq, a combat patch was like, wow. Dude's been in some ****.

Then Iraq stared, but I got out after the year and a half of the war, so I assumed with as many rotations going through now that a combat patch is pretty much standard now.

and if you don't have all the above mentioned badges + wings + a tab (ranger or other wise) prepare to not be taken seriously as an officer.
