Question. Just got my tank filled and...

Well haven't filled my tank for a year or so now and i decided to bring it to get it filled because i wanted it ready for the summer. Brought it to local paintball shop and when I got if filled it was only filled to 3000. It is a 45/45 and I am very confident that the gauge on the tank is accurate. The lady said "i only go by the gauge on the compressor not the tank". I think i got jiffed. What do you guys think?

Does the store fill to only 3000 or 4500? Some places won't be able to fill a tank to 4500.

You don't have enough information for anyone to determine one way or the other.

First off, what was the compressor pressure ... 3000? If so, no problem ... you got what they give for a fill.

If the compressor gauge was 4500 psi, then you most likely have a bad mini-gauge.

Go out and use the tank and get it filled again and this time watch the fill panel gauge. If there is a difference, then get your mini-gauge replaced.
