Stats-
*Works in any SFT or NXT Shocker
*Completely see through polycarbonate design
*8 inlet holes for the highest flowing production can
*Lighest can available at 12 grams - 50% lighter (stock/HE can is 22/24 grams and NDZ LP can is 18 grams)
*SFT can design
*Same internal volume as H.E. can, meaning direct drop in - no tuning needed
*Pressure tested safely, exceding 850+ psi applied directly to a completely onsupported can, with no deformation, bulging, or cracking at all.(850psi applied for over a 5 minute time period)

Please note- All shockers will burst/vent their solenoid past 350psi and will have much smaller window cut-outs than the test rig, so achieving the test conditions in a real shocker would be impossible.

Whats the material?

The material is polycaronate. I will finnish polishing this week so the can is as clear as a mask lense. It will look very cool in pl milled shockers with different types of windows.

How are the tolerances? Do you think that there is enough friction to effect structure. How much time did it take you to make it? It is a cool concept. Are you planning on making them for sale? Sorry for all the questions but what a great way to show off the new EIGENBOLT.

The tollerance and dimensions are the exact same as the stock can +- .0005. The firing can was made on an okuma 2 axis cnc lathe with live tooling so repeatablity will be very high as well.

Yes finished cans will be for sale but you will have to pm me for details.

very cool! if i had one of these cans id want one of those splash anno'd Eigen bolts we saw not too long ago. i wonder how sunlight exposure would affect the plastic? depending on cost i wouldnt mind trying one in my dynasty. i bet it would be nice in a hybrid sft.

the polycarbonate will do just fine in the sunlight. It is the same material as mask lenses.

Only way to get one of those is to have cs make a second one or steal mine.

It would be cool to see a slow motion video of a shocker shooting with one of these cans (large windows obviously).

Despite lexan being a very rugged and durable material, it will eventually go bad. Every time the Matrix is fired, the shot chamber is emptied and refilled with air, fluctuating between 0 and ~225 PSI very rapidly. Every time this happens, the lexan expands and contracts, like breathing. Over time, this causes stress fractures and, eventually, leaks. The Tequilas had a fairly large viewable area of exposed lexan. The more exposed area there is, the less support for the expansion and contraction of material. When Greg realized the limitations of the lexan, he shrunk down the size of the window for the Tequila Sunrises. This gives the tube more support and lets it last longer.

Obviously there's difference in size of the windows and pressure used on a shocker, but I'd check into lexan before making any more.

lexan is the brand name of the polycarbonate that will be used. The can will be pressure tested past the bursting pressure of the solenoid(300psi+) as well as repeated pressure/ depressurization tests. The side wall dimensions will be slighlty thicker as well to increase strength while still maintaining the volume of a H.E. can.
