Why couldnt you go if it was in Miami or New Orleans? Round trip tickets to those cities are under $100 most of the time.

Southwest always has specials, my cousin just flew to Tampa for Rays/Sox for I think $110. Its not sub $100, but its close enough, I'll rephrase that to "around $100".

just because a few airlines have good deals from time to time doesn't mean tickets are even "around" $100 most of the time.

Go look up normal LGA to MIA, or even ALB to MIA (which is where I'd most likely be leaving from)

I can get behind that idea.

No, it would be a terrible idea. There were enough football players getting in trouble when the NBA All Star game was in Vegas, imagine if the Super Bowl was there. I'd sure hate to have Pacman on my team for that...

The NFL will never move anything to Vegas. The NFL wants NOTHING to do with Vegas in terms of being associated with betting. Notice when you watch games this year you wont see any commercials for Vegas or even anything with Vegas in it. The NFL stays far, far away from it.
