play against people that are better than you....that will force you to get better.....i am 12 years old and I play against some of the D3 kids at my field....My first time going to ball....i got killed....enough said....now most of the guys out there know my name, and will invite me to play....not to mention I can beat some of the kids on their D5 team

I'm only 13
I just ercently started playing with DSSP8NTBALL.COM
I got noticed by greg pauley, bryan bortal and the rest of the vicious and DSS crew because i was aggressive and listened to what they had to say to make me a better player.
I got bunkered by a bryan a few times I'll admit but i took my beatings and then was the first one the field again to play.
Just get as far up the field as possible don't worry about gun fights unless you absolutely have too the farther you are up the field the more angles you have there for the more kill shots are available.
Just be aggressive but don't play sloppy.

Yes, of course a young gun can stand out! I can assure you it won't be easy though. Here are a few tips:

Attitude - The most important aspect that you can have to stand out from everyone else is your attitude. Both positive and negative attitudes have that effect, but it's always better to stand out in a positive way. To do so, don't go around showing off or boasting your skills. It's one thing to say you have great skills and be able to back it up. It's another to say the same thing, walk on the field and play like an idiot. Attitude also includes how you treat others. Knowledge - Knowledge is the key to success in my opinion. Take the time to learn not only about your marker and equipment, but about other topics such as rules, strategies and paintball "current events". It may not show at first, but as you begin to learn about anything you can, you become a smarter and more effective player. You will also be able to help others better as well!
