* PSP 2009 Rules (Governs the 2010 Season) - READ IT FOR YOURSELF!

* ENTRY FEE (All Divisions) - FIRST TO PAY GET'S TO PLAY!

* PRIZE PACKAGES (All Divisions) - CLICK HERE BECAUSE THEY ARE SIMPLY AMAZING!

* WCPPL 2010 REGISTRATION FEE (Final)
............- One-time Annual Fee is $30 until the event, $40 at the event (so if you have paid this already then no worries...)
............- Registration/Membership fee is due from ALL participants (except Media Folk, Young Guns, Pump Players)
............- Preferred way of purchase is through APPA, BUT have an approved picture loaded (before 6 Sept 2010)
............- All players and staff are REQUIRED to have a passport/driver's license style headshot uploaded to their APPA accounts
............- For 2010, no WCPPL ID Cards will be issued (teams managed via rosters and wristbands)

* Check-in / Registration for ALL PLAYERS (UPDATED)
............- Check-In / Registration at the Event 4 starts on Friday, Sept 10th from 1pm - 5pm

NOTE: Please politely ask your players and staff to PLEASE STOP uploading silly pictures with goofy hats, throwing up your sets, making faces, small photos, dark photos, and to just take a simple passport / driver's licence style photo or it will be REJECTED. Don't be surprised if you are forced to wait for an extended period of time during check-in because you have not uploaded a photo to your APPA account.

* WALKING THE FIELDS (All Divisions) (Final)
............- Teams will be able to "Walk The Fields" the fields on Friday (10 Sept 2010) from 11am until 5pm.

* CAPTAIN'S MEETINGS (Final)

............- Division 2 (D2) "Premier Division" is RaceTo-5 (4 Sets)
............- Division 3 (D3) "Intermediate Division" is RaceTo-2 (4 Sets)
............- Division 4 (D4) "Rookie Division" is RaceTo-2 (4 Sets)

NOTE: RaceTo-2 is NOT consecutive points for D4, D3, Pump, and Young Guns.

* MAXIMUM TEAM ROSTERS (PSP 2009 Rules/Policies)
............- D2 maximum rostered players is 12 (plus additional staff)
............- D3 maximum rostered players is 8 (No Staff)
............- D4 maximum rostered players is 8 (No Staff)
............- Pump maximum rostered players is 6

NOTE: For Divisions 3 & 4, there is really no need to add staff to the roster on the APPA, but if you do each staff added must have a picture uploaded to their APPA account. Four (4) are allowed for both divisions at the event. Ensure those individuals have a valid ID upon check-in.

* UPPER DIVISION PLAYER ON A ROSTER BREAKDOWN (Final)
............- Division 2 teams may have two (2) D1 players
............- D3 teams may have one (1) D2 player
............- D4 teams may have one (1) D3 player

NOTE: There is only one (1) upper division player (one division removed) permitted per roster for D3 and D4 RaceTo-2 teams. However, D2 RaceTo-5 teams are permitted to have two (2) upper division players (one division removed)

NOTE: First to pay will be allowed to participate/play. The divisional team limits are indicated on the APPA website for Event 2. CLICK HERE

* RATE OF FIRE INFORMATION (Final)
............- D2 5-Man (PSP/Ramp'd) = Capped 12.5bps
............- D3 5-Man (PSP/Ramp'd) = Capped 12.5bps
............- D4 5-Man (PSP/Ramp'd) = Capped 12.5bps
............- 4-Man Pump = Full Auto

* PAINT RELATED INFORMATION (Final)
............- Orange is the protected color (so no, players may NOT wear orange)
............- Yellow is NOT a protected color (so yes, players MAY wear yellow)
............- No RED or PINK filled paint
............- Bring your own paint (BYOP) or purchase at the event at an economical price

NOTE: The prefered method of payment for paint is cash, which is pay per order (no running tab). However, for Event 2, you may use a credit card and run a tab, if you leave a credit card number on file or you may pay with a credit card per order. There is a surcharge of $0.25 per transaction.

* MEDIA PASS (Final)
............- Media Pass Requests are CLOSED for Event 3
............- Media Passes can be picked up Fri afternoon & Sat morning
............- Media Passes are for the individuals listed in Post #7 ONLY
............- Media from the 2009 season have priority
............- No shows will be denied access to next event or possibly two events

* SPECTATORS (Final)
............- Absolutely welcomed to come, watch, scream, yell, and cheer, but NO please no sideline coaching for Pump...

* IN CLOSING - This is a players league and a fantastic tournament series with tremendous cash prizes, superb air bunkers, awesome turf, great reffing, teams have the option of walking the fields the day before, and a really great time is had by all. Now moving to the most popular format should increase the action event more. See ya there! Oh, there is a gentleman's bet that some leagues will set their dates a week or two ahead of the WCPPL. So when you see it happen, you saw it here first and send me a PM letting me know.

Directions to Camp Pendleton Marine Base - Near the Rodeo Grounds

From Highway 5:

Merge on 76E, Take the "College Blvd." exit. Make a left on College Blvd, then a right on Vandegrift. Vandegrift will lead to the Camp Pendleton “San Luis Ray” Gate. From Highway 15: Merge on 76W, Take the "College Blvd." exit. Make a right on College Blvd, then a right on Vandegrift. Vandegrift will lead to the Camp Pendleton “San Luis Ray” Gate. Once you are at the Camp Pendleton Gate: Tell the guard you are going to “The Paintball Park”. The guard will want to see your driver’s license, registration and car insurance. Once you are through the gate, go about 1 mile and you will see the paintball fields on your left. Make a left before the large MCCS Built-in Sign and follow the Paintball Signs to the Park.

Proper Identification

PROPER IDENTIFICATION: You must have proper identification to register at the event.

Players 17 years of age and older MUST have one of the following:

•State-issued Driver's License or ID Card
•US or Foreign Passport
•Photo US Military ID with Birth Date
***No other forms of identification are acceptable***

Players under 17 may also use one of the following:

•Photo School ID Card with Birth Date
•Photo School ID Card with Birth Certificate or Driving Permit
•Photo in Player's Most Recent School Yearbook with Birth Certificate or Driving Permit

NOTE: Starting this season, no more ID cards will be issued. Rosters will be verified with proper ID and games will be monitored via your rosters and wristbands. If you do NOT have an ID, then you will not be permitted to participate PERIOD.

Supplemental Information

WCPPL 2010 Registration/Membership Fee

Players may now pay the registration fee for their WCPPL 2010 Membership (pump and young guns are excempt from paying this fee)

NOTE: The promoter is no longer accepting ID cards from other leagues (except PSP).

REGISTRATION/MEMBERSHIP FEE UPDATE: The price is now $30 upto the event, and $40 at the event (registration fee is per person)

WHO HAS TO PAY THE REGISTRATION/MEMBERSHIP FEE: RaceTo- divisional players ONLY (D2, D3, & D4)

ALL RaceTo- Divisional Players are required to: Have an APPA account with your legal first and last names added. In addition to having a headshot of themshelve uploaded and approved within the player's APPA account. RaceTo- divisional players are required to pay their registration/membership fee online. Getting your picture uploaded, approved, and paying online saves you time (upon arrival at the event) from waiting in-line and saves the league time waiting for you in-line. So it's a win/win. Click where it states "Pay Registration Fee" by your name withn the APPA under your profile or under your team's roster. That is once your team registers and adds you to the roster, of course.

ALL TEAMS ARE REQUIRED TO (includes 4-Man Pump and 3-Man Young Guns): Have all participating players added to their rosters before the rosters close on 12 July 2010 at 11:59 pm. Please ensure that ALL of your players have an approved headshot photo attached to each players APPA profile in addition to having the legal first and last name on their accounts.

WCPPL 2010 SEASON SCHEDULE
  • Event 1 - RaceTo- Camp P on March 6th and 7th in Oceanside, CA
  • Event 2 - RaceTo- S.C. Village on May 15th and 16th in Chinon, CA
  • Event 3 - RaceTo- CEPP on July 17th and 18th in Scramento. CA
  • Event 4 - RaceTo- Camp P on September 11th and 12th in Oceanside, CA
  • Event 5 - RaceTo- S.C. Village on November 13th and 14th in Chino, CA

Player Misconduct - Player misconduct penalties can be given by any field judge and enforced by the Ultimate Judge. If a player has been assess a misconduct, the penalty can result in a 1 for 1 penalty, 2 for 1 penalty, suspension, and or ejection. There are several actions that are completely unacceptable, which include swearing, hostile physical, threatening and intimidating behavior, throwing equipment, poor sportsmanship, and yes, childish/immature behavior can result in a misconduct penalty. To be clear, counter-coaching is also considered a misconduct. So let's play fair, have fun, put our best foot forward.

Eliminated Player Notice - If a player stands at their bunker or stays on the field without immediately exiting upon being eliminated will receive a one-for-one, two-for-one, or three-for-one, depending on the severity of the infraction, at the discretion of the referee assessing the penalty. This will be reiterated during the captain's meeting at Event 2.

APPROVED Media List

As of 17 Jul 10, Media Passes Requests are CLOSED, which means that no more media passes will be issued.

The approved media listed will be at the event so please if you are not on this list DO NOT come asking Hinman to let you in because the answer is still NO. So don't try it because it always ends in someone getting their feelings hurt, frustrated, or angry thinking it's going to change (no means no, so please save us all the aggravation if dealing with the excess drama because there is typically a lot going on when putting these things together that we already have to deal with). The good folks at the registration booth will go strictly by the media list that is provided below. So if your name isn't listed, then NO you aren't getting in.

For those approved, you will be required to show a valid ID and to complete a waiver before receiving your Media Pass (but you already know the drill ) The Media Passes are for the individuals listed ONLY, and are NOT group passes. If you flake once this season, you will be denied a media for the next event or possibly two events and will loose your priority status.

yea the d2 finals were crazy haha that last point for mob was dead for i think a dirty hang but then the next point the match time ended before LA hitmen could hang the flag, but then it was taken to overtime and hitmen took it to mob

I really like how you put that, it was super epic. People are missing out on some great ball leaving so early.
