You do realize that the actual lifting time is somewhere around I'd guess 5-10 minutes at max, right? You have to consider more when saying "If you are there for an hour 30 you are wasting your time". There are a lot of things you need to start considering and you clearly are oblivious to the fact.
for real. the whole process of benching for just 3 sets probably takes 12 minutes but i bet i'm only lifting the actual weight for like 2 minutes.
and i do a monday/wednesday/friday split and one day will be chest/arms/shoulders with a little back and the other will be back and legs (dead and squat with assistance). through in some core work and forearm work too. i just do what i need to and i could care less if i go over 40 minutes. reminds me of when people were like "omg protein shake as soon as you're done lifting or else it's for ****!"
