I recently bought a (used)Geo, After playing a day with it I discovered that my velocity would not go higher then around 190-200. And that the gun its self was not very efficient. I was wondering if I could get any ideas to trouble shoot this problem. Dwell, vvc screw location ect, ect,.. any idea's would be helpfull.

Use a HP tank.
Reset the dwell to stock.
Clean/lube bolt/can/propshaft.
VVC screw doesn't matter.

Just a brief look at the variable volume chamber. This is adjusted by a screw at the rear of the Prop Shaft: -

The Prop Shaft is hollow, and stores additional air, over and above what is in the firing chamber. Adjusting the screw moves a piston up or down the hollow bore of the Prop Shaft, adjusting the volume that is available for air to be stored in. This gives you a small degree of adjustment over the Geo's operating pressure.

posted by Uziel Gal in the 4th thread called stickies, if you look at these threads they are full of good advice and mention many ways to adjust you marker. But everyone likes there's a certain way so only by testing will you get to know your marker and what its capable of doing for you.

if you have the GST in the geo make sure youi dont have the restrictors in it...it will limit how high you can crono the marker...the restrictors are made for use usining reballs

Make sure that the back check ball inside the solenoid isn't smaller than 4.00mm in diameter, and that it isn't dirty or damaged.

Make sure that the vent hole on the can is no larger than a pinhole.

Use a good ball to barrel fit.

Make sure that the bolt tip o-ring is in good condition, so that you don't have excessive blowback.
