Hey Iv'e used my delta elite for about three good battles now. So far it's worked perfectly.. Until I cleaned it. The instructions where simple to fallow for stupid people like me. So cleaning was simple. But I ran into this really big problem.

Every time I shoot my elite, the paint literally explodes in my gun. It makes a mess of my rip clip, and not a single soild ball passes though the barrel. Just chunks of paint debris.

1. I grabbed my intruction manual and turned the volocity switch all the way down, still not change.

2. I've been using Draxxus paint for every battle (with the elite) and it's never let me down. So it's not the paint.

3. I took apart the gun (back home) and recleaned the mess. Still no result.. and yes, the detent is facing the right direction.

4. the rip clip was functioning perfectly. I even took it off and shot the gun my itself... paint still exploded everywhere.

Hopefully I just mixed up the bolt or something simple and easy to fix. try to make the directions simple for my slow mind.

I own a Delta and run a Revvy on it and have never had a major issue.

I don't know for sure what your issue is but from previous experience with other guns, sometimes the velocity can be cranked up too high after cleaning it and you are literally destroying the ball with the air.

Or you could just have a bad batch of paint.

Check to make sure the ball detent is in properly...

no eyes on a BT Delta dude. i would take a look at the rip clip setting 1 slow, 2 (where mine is set and i have my egrip set to 13 balls per second ramping) 3 fast as hell. when you turn on the rip clip the light will be a mix of all three colors and flash 1,2 or three times. that indicates what setting you are on. what type of grip do you have? mech -egrip? i also took the rip clip off and smoothed out the breech with some steel wool. the breech is the hole where the paint enters the marker. take a look at the front of the bolt as well. if there are any imperfections you will chop. if the rip clip is messy inside i would think that the paint os crap or the feeder is loading at a ridiculous rate and breaking the paint. i had that happen a couple of times when it got cold and the pait was getting brittle. try a different barrel, that could be a problem too.

Yeah people when I cleaned it, I didn't put the guts back together properly. Thankfully the manual wasn't completely wrong. Even though the assembly pictures are all backwards I still fixed the simple issue.

Once I did this my elite has been working beautifully ever since, just like it did before. Thanks guys, I'm glad I can talk to the experts at just with a click of a button.
