It would probably work but it would be cheaper to just buy a t8.1 (that is FS ready) Instead of paying $120 for the sa-8 and then $140 for the FS kit. although the sa-8 bolt looks like a FS bolt It may be possible to mod a sa-8's barrel and mags to FS.

FS mag http://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/d...-3-free-7.html he never finished it but said that with alittle bit more modding it would be possible.

why, pray tell, would you want to do that?

you should be able to though. its just a T8 with modified air system internals and a harder bolt

Cool0 is right though. its a waste when you could have bought a T8.1/T9.1

Both of my SA-8's came FS ready, Just needed a FS mag and barrel. Once I traded one of the SA-8's for a Nickleplated T8, it came with the old Soft Touch bolt and longer spring.

FS Bolt:

Regular Bolt

for safety issues you should not use a SA-8 for paintball, weathjer it fits or not is irrelivant. Tiberius put out a notice a while back about the sa8 and that it should never be used for paintball due to safety concerns

Their T8-R has the same back block as the VT-SA8, and I don't see them saying that the T8-R is unsafe. It has a different reg though, so that might make them "safe".
