He's probably put the solenoid end cap on the wrong way around when he put the solenoid back together.

ok i'm going to check out zdspb but I figured i should ask here real quick,
Shot my sft for the first time in a while today, the boly was lubed but I'm not sure when the last time i serviced the reg was, anyways shoots great for a couple games then balls start dropping when I'm shooting a lane, jsut one ball in the lane, then i start getting fsdo bad until finally I switch out guns because I can't get tit to shoot hard enough so the balls leave the barrel. So my issue is major shootdown, I should have put anohter reg on the gun but didn't want to miss any games, what other than the reg could have been the problem?

First thing that spring to mind are low battery, low air, not enough grease, or as you said, your reg needs servicing.

Again, could be something as simple as needing a fresh battery.
Can you give us any more details? What type of Shocker, what board, have you broken a ball, etc?

Are you certain that you haven't broken a ball prior to the eyes stopping working, rather than the other way around? Might explain why the eyes stopped working. What is making you think that the eyes have stopped working in the first place?

No, reflective eyes do not work in the visible light spectrum, so you wouldn't see light from them.

the battery was fine i'll lube it sometime this week and see how it shoots this weekend, i dryfired it today and it seemed to be fine so we'll see,
could upper board damage cause the issue by any chance?

The fact that your eyes start OK, then stop working, and if they aren't breaking paint before they stop working, doesn't fit any obvious pattern, so there isn't a clear cut answer.
I would still suggest changing the battery, even if you think your current one is good.
As we are talking about a reflective eye, which don't always work well with some types of paint, try a different ball and see if it makes any difference - go for something brightly coloured with a smooth shell for maximum reflectivity.
Beyond that, I would check the things that lead to eye problems in general - make sure that the eye sensor is flat to the ribbon; make sure that the sensor is looking straight in to the breech; make sure that the ribbon isn't damaged; make sure that the ribbon is plugged in ro the upper board the right way around; make sure that the eye logic is set correctly; make sure that there is no screw damage on the upper board; make sure that there is no damage to the harness, and no loose wires; make sure that there are no bent or missings pins in the harness socket.

I wouldn't expect upper board damage to cause your problem.

experienced fsdo somewhat randomly.
i was playing sunday indoors and we had to turn the guns down to 260-270 due to a smaller field. anyways didnt get any fsdo at first. a few games letter i exerienced some...but like its called it was only fsdo...so anything after that was fine.
until i started the next game..just the first shot was dropping off.
after turning the gun back to just under 300 fps, i didnt get any fsdo.
ive got a dynasty tadao m7 board and an HE bolt. What might the issue be? just the lower velocity?

Shockers can struggle with low velocity, though 260fps isn't all that low. Still, having to reduce the dwell and/or velocity can lead to cycling issues.
As you have an aftermarket board, you could always try turning up the anti bolt stick setting when you are shooting at low velocity, and see if that resolves the problem. You could just fire a shot before game on to get passed that first shot. The New Designz adjustable bolt guide is another option - while it is now commonly associated as a part to get the most out of the spring mod, it was originally designed to eliminate cycling problems when using a Shocker at low velocity.
Considering that you already have the Tadao board, and aren't looking to get down to really low velocity, hopefully the board's ABS setting will be all you need.

how much is the cheapest someone will charge me to send my gun to them... i have a leaking problem i cant fix, ive replaced all the bold orings and brand new manifold and orings for it... we have come down that it is coming from the noid... so if someone either has a NXT noid and the whole box and everything that holds it, i would be interested... OR if someone can look at my gun and fix it.. thanx in advance..

^ there's a guy in bst services that people seem to be haivng pretty good results with
Uziel I tore down the reg today and it defintiely needed some lube, so hopefully that'll fix my problem. Question though, could to much lube on the bolt kit have been an issue? there was excess lube covering the noid and eye wire, more than usual, and i ended up taking some of the bolt there was so much.
