Paintball more confrontational?

I have been out of the tournament scene for a while but looking at is now, does it seem like paintball is more confrontational? Like more up in your face kind of play. More bunkering, more 1vs1s, more barrel to mask kind of stuff?

Probably, depends on the style and how long you've been out. PSP style is more in your face type play as since bodies don't matter there are a lot more runs that you know you won't live through that will break the game open for your team.

NPPL / 7-man still has a bit more hang back and see as every body counts for points.

I agree with Darth. PSP is definitally more in your face but I have seen alot more bunkering and runs even during team practices and just on the local fields.
