Dry Firing SLG + Oring Question

I was considering dry firing a tank or two through my SLG to break it in a little more, I know with my Ego its forbidden because of the way the rammer would strike the poppit. Would I risk damaging anything by doing this?

Also, I know that in the Luxe forum in that they say to use the Clear Orings not the black ones due to friction on the bolt and that, is there any possibility that replace some of the orings that experience movement on the bolt might help lessen the recoil/friction on the bolt at all? I mean if no one knows im more then willing to try it out .

Mike

The best way to break in your marker is by using it. Dry firing it is most likely bad for it. I never understood the point of putting wear and tear on the marker dry firing it when using it accomplishes the same and lets you play at the same time. If you insist on breaking the marker in before you play, at least use reballs.
