Not known to many of the United States service members, but there are actually fields out here in Korea. I can think of 3 or 4 on the military posts, and 1 or 2 out in the general public.

We have a small league started in the military. 5man psp style format. Approx 5 teams that play these tournaments. and the 8th army team will be attending World cup this year in FL. (d3).

We are always looking for new ballers to come out. If you have any questions about where/when to play, or just want some general info on our proshop feel free to PM me, and if you are already over here in Korea and reading this I'd be happy to get you my number to talk about the field.

yeah there are a few of us left here from WCA 08. i think played the d2 division if i remember correctly.

We are military so we will have to coordinate vacation time to get there, but we will definitely give it our best shot

its 5man, I have already sumbited my leave for it so I'm good to go. I may or may not be playing with the Singapore team so if that falls though we can put a Korean team together.

So i am fairly new to this and I know I am going off topic to where this post is heading but I have some questions for you guys in korea. I will be going to Korea to teach english in the fall, any problems I should know about transporting my marker and the tank? any advice ? and where do you guys usually play?? any info would be greatly appreciated.

You may or may not have an issue bringing your marker, meaning personally I didn't have a problem but someone whom I worked with had theirs taken at customs (just don't say you have one and you will be fine). I dont know about the rest of the baller here as I'n new in town just have been to the one on my base.
