In light of lots of recent lies and rumours being spread I thought I would make a thread showing everybody how you can find out about goggle certification and get 3rd party verification
that they have passed ASTM standards.
First Here is the link for the ASTM society.
The ASTM requires any and all paintball goggles to be tested by an A2LA complaint laboratory in order to be ASTM compliant.
PECC, is the Protective Eyewear Certification Council
and they 3rd party verify
by receiving the certification from the laboratory that the goggles have passed the A2LA lab testing (and thus are compliant with ASTM standards).
You can see the list of Third Party certified goggle manufacturers HERE!
From that last link you can see which goggles have third party verification of their testing, which fit over glasses, and when the certification was carried out and from when the goggles are third party verified safe and to have passed testing.
Other goggles may have passed ASTM testing but the documentation hasn't been handed to the PECC group for third party verification.
