What upgrades

I only started playing a few weeks ago, and I went out and bought a tippman A-5 with flatline barrel, colapsable stock, and remote airline. Any suggestions on anything else I could do to this marker to improve it? Ohh and one more thing which is better Co2 or HPA?

HPA is always better.

HPA (also known as N2) is better, as it is more consistent and can work under low temperatures. CO2 freezes at low temperature and hence does not work as well. HPA tanks are more expensive, but in the long run, it is better to have HPA than CO2. Another factor to take into consideration is that it is sometimes easier to find CO2 refills than HPA refills (at least where I live now).

Regarding upgrades, this is a very subjective view and will depend on your preferences. Some people love the flatline barrel, others will tell you to change it. Use whatever you feel better with, or read the "barrel guide" somewhere on the forums, as it will help you alot. What you can upgrade is the trigger: you can get an Egrip (electronic) or a Response Trigger. Any of these will allow you to shoot at a faster rate than the normal, standard trigger. Again, you chose what you want.

PM me, and I'll try to answer your questions. It's good to try to fit all of your questions into one thread, to avoid clogging the forum.

This is coming from a long time A5 user.

1. Drop the stock. Just run tank on marker, its easier to aim and you wont get stuck in tight places as easy.

2. HPA. always.

3. Squishy paddles.

4. Hammerhead barrel. I whoop up on Flatty's all day long with my 14" HH. Its accurate and can reach out and touch someone if you know how to aim.

5. Better marker. A5s are sweet but they will never be as "good" as a mid/high end electro.

yup, lol. Back-up marker for good now. Still love it though and would never sell it.

But never use RAP4 hard products. Only the Soft goods. I have heard countless horror stories with just about every single one of there products.

look into getting a good anti fog mask and not upgrades for the marker at this time. if your mask fogs or causes you pain after 30 min of play it going to ruin your playing time.

Just got my own pair of white grillz. The are AMAZING. even though im a young gun and don't fit my face as they would with an adult, they are still low profile and havent fogged yet.
