09 indy eye problems
Ok so I did a little research and the problems are the eyes. They turn yellow, the eye side with the red wire appears to be slightly pinched. It was working before, but just started flaking out and turning yellow. Any chance of it being fixable? Or do I need to order a new pair?
Also Jack I sent you a message about it. LMK asap guys, I have supergame in oregon next weekend and need them by then.
Thanks guys
Ben

Are you sure it's not just a low battery or dirty eyes? A "slight" pinch is usually not that big a deal. If it's totally creased through, that could be an issue.

Just changed the battery with a new duracell 9v. So it isn't the battery. And the eyes aren't dirty. I've taken the gun apart and tried a few different things, but they always turn yellow. I pulled off the red and blue coting as Jack suggested to me, and noticing the wires underneath are creased. So the eyes are the problem.
I put a new order in which I should get by the end of the week.

Sounds good. In a pinch you could always just resolder the wire and put electrical tape on it.

When your checking the eyes are you using air? If you aren't using air (the bolt not cycling) they will turn yellow whether they are good or not. I was unaware of this and thought my eyes were bad

well thats only if your bolt is blocking the eyes... if you unblock, air up , run paint through it and it still ifaults, then you have a too low of a eye delay or funky eyes.

That's what it does on my 2010"i". I click the trigger twice with the bolt back when the eyes on and it goes to yellow if I'm not running air or paint. Also, my eye delay is stock.

yellow LED indicates 'eye error' as per stated in the manual... this happens when the eye doesn't detects 'movement' in the chamber when trigger is activated.

with breech in open position and eyes clear and "on" the Indy shouldn't ifault unless eyes are blocked by paint or just not working. If breech is clear and u pull trigger the indy should not respond in anyway whatsoever no color changes at all. unless you hold trigger down to allow board to safety shot.
something is up with your '10I if board is faulting the eyes to yellow light with breech open and clear
i mean that dont sound right about what your describing but if im wrong then im wrong..

What happens if you do block the eyes out and pull the trigger? What happens if you get flashing yellow and then block the eyes out?
Could it be possible that the eye wires are connected backwards in the plug? lol.
